Figure 8c- Partial severe hail (> 3/4 in. diamter), wind gusts (> 49 kt) and
                                              tornado reports for 13 October 2001 (source NCEP SPC). Note
                                              most of the reports are clustered where both highest boundary
                                              layer equivalent potential temperature ( > 345 K) and absolute
                                              moisture ( > 16.5 g kg^-1) values  were present along the path of
                                              greatest differential divergence described by the progression of the
                                              upper trough eastward.
