2008 Undergraduate Meteorological Satellite Applications Award Submissions NWA Remote Sensing Committee

The NWA has sponsored an undergraduate Meteorological Satellite (MetSat) Applications award since 1997. The purpose of this award is to stimulate interest and foster the study and use of satellite remote sensing data in weather analysis and forecasting. The following papers, listed alphabetically, were submitted in nomination for the 2008 award, won by Ms. Amanda Mims, of the University of Michigan:
