"Through an annual awards program, provide deserved recognition to individuals (professional and volunteer) involved in operational and related activities."

Awards for 2011 were presented at the 36th NWA Annual Meeting, Awards Luncheon, on Wednesday, October 19th at The Wynfrey Hotel in Birmingham, Alabama. See the list of winners.

Know someone, or a group, that deserves recognition for their contribution to the field of meteorology? Submit a nomination! Nominations are being accepted for 2012 through August 1st. Check out the brief requirements and categories on the Annual Awards Program page. Winners will be presented their awards at the 37th Annual National Weather Association Meeting in Madison, WI this October. Hope to see you there!
