Terry Lankford retired as an FAA Flight Service Station (FSS) controller in 1998 after 25 years of service. He has been an active pilot and flight instructor since 1968. Terry has six books in publication with McGraw-Hill on various aviation topics and has published numerous periodical articles. As well as flight instruction, he is the co-chair of the National Weather Association's Aviation Weather Committee.
